Early in his career, Tim discovered a knack for problem-solving and helping clients find solutions to their accounting and tax challenges. A tax manager who joined The Hechtman Group in 2015, Tim specializes in business and individual taxation, tax planning, consulting, and other accounting services.
Tim’s client base includes small businesses with an emphasis on real estate, professional service industry, and high-net-worth individuals. He likes working with small business owners knowing that their business is their life and seeing the direct impact he can make by being a resource for related financial and tax situations whether business or personal.
Tim played baseball at the University of St. Francis where he earned a Bachelor of Science in Accounting. He graduated with an MS in accounting from Roosevelt University and is a member of AICPA and the Illinois CPA Society.
A Chicago sports fan and notably a White Sox fan, Tim has been playing and watching sports since his youth. He competes in softball and bowling leagues and has recently taken up golf. As part of leading an active lifestyle, Tim organizes a daily step challenge every May called ‘Calendar Step Club’. This challenge inspired Tim to complete an astounding 100,000 steps in one day.
