Paul Benjamin has been a partner at The Hechtman Group since 2021. Prior, Paul was a partner at Echales, Benjamin & Simkin, L.L.P. He brings over 35 years of deep expertise in individual tax planning, wealth management, progressive business planning, corporate and partnership concerns, qualified retirement plans, IRS representation, business acquisition and sale, and estate and trust matters. Business industries served include manufacturing, wholesale, real estate ownership and development, professional services, and other closely held businesses.
Paul graduated from Northern Illinois University in 1982, receiving a Bachelor of Science degree with majors in accounting and in finance, and is a licensed Certified Public Accountant in the State of Illinois since 1983. He has also received his designation as a Certified Financial Planner (CFP) and a Personal Financial Specialist (PFS) in 1990 and 1996 respectively. He is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, the Illinois CPA Society and the Financial Planning Association.
