Liam O’Donovan joined The Hechtman Group in 2022 as Administrative Assistant, working with the firm’s tax software and database. In this role, Liam ensures new clients are set up in the database and existing client profiles are current. He assists the team with general data entry management, greets clients entering the office, and manages mail distribution and office supplies.
A native of Illinois, Liam grew up in Wilmette, attending New Trier High School. He earned a Bachelor of Applied Science and Mathematics from Illinois Wesleyan University. He went on to work for Socius Ingredients as Sample Manager and Food Scientist before joining The Hechtman Group. Liam also spent time with the Wilmette Park District as a high school tutor in math and science.
As a member of The Hechtman Group team, Liam enjoys the interaction with his colleagues in an environment he describes as “efficient, skilled, and kind.” His goal is to make clients feel welcome as they enter the office, listen to their needs, and provide tech support with their online accounts.
Liam enjoys working with computers and technology, and built his own computer from scratch. In addition to technology and video games, Liam is an experienced pianist who composes his own music. He appreciates most genres of music, going to concerts and live shows. He loves to travel to his father’s native birth place, Ireland, to visit family and tour the lush green landscapes of the country.
