Kamil is a native Chicagoan who first joined The Hechtman Group as an intern in 2018. After graduating from Loyola University in Chicago with a Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting, he joined the firm full-time as staff accountant and was promoted shortly thereafter to senior accountant and in 2022 he was promoted to Tax Manager in 2024. He is a CPA candidate and member of the AICPA and Illinois CPA Society.
In his role, Kamil prepares and reviews work papers and tax returns. He also conducts financial analyses for clients on the tax implications of potential transactions. He wants his clients to feel confident that their needs are being taken care of so they can focus on running their business while THG handles the potentially tricky tax situations. He is an asset to his clients and to the company whom he describes as caring, dynamic, and positive.
Kamil spends his personal time with friends and enjoys checking out the vibrant Chicago social and restaurant scene. He’s traveled Europe and hopes to visit more countries especially those rich in history and architecture.
