Jose Munoz brings a unique blend of creativity and financial expertise to his role at The Hechtman Group. Originally from Chicago, Jose holds an A.A. in Culinary Arts from St. Augustine College and a B.S. in Business Administration from Lewis University. Before joining THG, he worked with Blue Plate and Bar Siena, gaining valuable experience in both business operations and client service.
At The Hechtman Group, Jose prepares tax returns across a wide range of entities, including 1040s, 1065s, and 1120S. He enjoys organizing financial data, making sense of numbers, and appreciates that each project offers a new learning opportunity—helping him grow and refine his skills with every client he serves. He describes THG as Cohesive, Accountable, and Proactive, values he strives to embody in his daily work.
Jose’s approach with clients is grounded in clarity and care. He aims to make every interaction a learning experience, helping clients feel more confident about their financial situations while ensuring they know they’re supported by someone dedicated to their success.
Outside of work, Jose enjoys going to the movies, working out, and spending time with his brother at Chicago Fire soccer games. He also values his family roots and frequently travels to Jalisco, Mexico to visit his grandparents and extended family.
