Janelle Isereau joined The Hechtman Group team in 2023 as an Administrative Assistant. She enjoys being behind the scenes and doing the many things that makes an office run smoothly. Janelle has worked at a number of tax firms over the years before, most recently, working in the finance department at Thresholds, a local non-profit.
After growing up in Penn Yan, New York, Janelle graduated from St. Bonaventure University in Olean, New York. Although Janelle grew up in a tiny town, she has always been a city girl at heart. While traveling to New York City is one of her favorite places to visit, Janelle’s love of the city has made it easy for her to call Chicago home.
When Janelle isn’t at work, she enjoys relaxing with a good television show, reading books, and hanging out with her fiancé Jeremy and their three cats – Morgan, Malcolm, and Kiva. And, if she is not at home, you will most often find her roaming around the city and taking photographs, which is one of her favorite hobbies. Finally, Janelle says the best piece of advice she has ever been given is that “the world is bigger than our backyard,” something she thinks of often when she travels somewhere new or does something she never thought she’d do.
