D.A. is a CPA and Senior Accountant with The Hechtman Group. He joined the team in 2021 and brings with him almost a decade of experience in a myriad of Tax and Audit areas, including individual, corporate, non-profit, trusts and estates.
A native of South Bend, Indiana, he holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting from Indiana University. He is a member of the AICPA and Illinois CPA Society.
For D.A., the most interesting part of being a CPA is talking to different clients and learning about their lives and businesses, figuring out what their needs are and finding solutions for them. This makes him feel like he is contributing as a partner to their success.
Outside of work, D.A. is an avid sports fan, especially Chicago’s teams. He also loves classic cinema and going on walks his girlfriend and their two Pomeranians.
