About Tyler Burd
Tyler Burd is a member of The Hechtman Group’s administrative team, where he supports day-to-day operations and helps ensure internal processes run smoothly. He enjoys being part of the company’s growth and takes pride in handling the behind-the-scenes tasks that keep everything moving efficiently.
Originally from Pawhuska, Oklahoma, Tyler earned a degree in Theater from Oklahoma State University and brings a diverse professional background to his role, including experience working in law firms. Before joining The Hechtman Group, one of his more unique jobs was working as a bread baker.
While Tyler’s role does not yet involve extensive direct client interaction, his goal is to help create a seamless, hands-off experience for clients and ensure they feel confident they are in capable hands.
Outside of work, Tyler enjoys reading, baking, pottery, and watching sports. He is an avid reader whose favorite books include East of Eden by John Steinbeck and Dawn by Octavia Butler. He shares his home with his dog, Moseby—an Australian Shepherd—and his cat, Luna. When traveling, Tyler’s favorite destinations are Ireland and Mexico City, and his favorite Chicago restaurants include Le Bouchon or Demera.
