Diana Carrillo is a Staff Accountant at The Hechtman Group, bringing a thoughtful and organized approach to her work. A native of North Chicago, Diana earned her Bachelor’s degree in Business with a focus in Accounting from Lake Forest College, and went on to complete her Master’s in Tax Accounting at the Mendoza College of Business at the University of Notre Dame.
Diana interned at The Hechtman Group for two consecutive tax seasons before joining the firm full-time. She enjoys the variety of projects she gets to work on and appreciates the flexibility to manage her own schedule—keeping her work focused, productive, and rewarding.

Before launching her career in accounting, Diana worked as a barista at Starbucks—a role that strengthened her communication skills and work ethic. Outside of work, she enjoys going to the gym, swimming, traveling, and finding new ways to stay organized. She also enjoys spending time with her pet schnauzer, Blu.
