Sandra (Sandy) has over 20 years of experience providing accounting, tax and consulting services to small and mid-sized businesses.  She has extensive experience in public practice working with clients in the professional services, manufacturing and not-for-profit industries as well as high-net worth individuals.  Sandy has also held controller and director of finance positions in industry gaining proficiency in financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow planning.

Sandy is a graduate of Indiana University’s Kelly School of Business, with a BS in Accounting, and she is a licensed CPA in Illinois and California.  Prior to joining The Hechtman Group, Sandy was an assurance supervisor at McGladrey in the Entrepreneurial Services Group.  She is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Illinois CPA Society.

Sandy enjoys spending her free time with family, including her husband and two young energetic sons.
