Kim Fritzsche specializes in assurance and accounting and has significant experience in audits, reviews, compilations, forecasts, projections and related attest engagements. She is noted for her exceptional client service and demonstrated leadership in engagement management, technical review of financial statements, compliance with quality control standards and resolving complex accounting issues. Kim has served clients in manufacturing, wholesale, distribution, construction, real estate, professional services, not-for-profit organizations and employee benefit plans, and is proficient in the tax work related to these industries.

Kim’s 30-plus year CPA career began at Pricewaterhouse Coopers. Prior to joining The Hechtman Group, she was a Director in the Entrepreneurial Services Group at McGladrey. She has extensive experience performing peer reviews of other accounting firms since the inception of the AICPA Peer Review Program and is a former member of the Illinois CPA Society On-Site Review Committee. Kim received her degree in Accountancy and Spanish from Northern Illinois University and her CPA certificate in 1979. She is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Illinois CPA Society.

Kim and her husband, David, reside in Kildeer and have three children – Brian, Martha and Mary Kate.  You can often find Kim at the local YMCA in her free time.  She is also a sports fan, a wine enthusiast and she enjoys travel - especially visits to see her kids at their college campuses
