Karin currently specializes in the taxation of Individuals and Trusts. Karin graduated from Marquette University in June of 1990 with a BA in Accounting. Karin went to work for Arthur Andersen in Milwaukee in July 1990 until December of 1993. While at AA she worked as a senior in the Small Business area, specializing in S corps. Karin then went to work for various small accounting firms where she broadened her specialties to include family wealth planning, individual taxation, and estate planning areas. She also broadened her individual taxation to include expatriate and inpatriate work. As a result of a transfer from Milwaukee in September of 1998, Karin joined Klayman & Korman where she worked part-time in the individual taxation area. Finally, Karin joined on with The Hechtman Group in January of 2002. Karin is a CPA and a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA), the Illinois CPA Society and the Wisconsin CPA Society.

Karin is married and has 4 children, three girls and one boy. Karin lives in Winfield and has an extensive commute. When Karin is not working or commuting to work, she is actively involved in her children's lives. She can be found at cheerleading events, being her daughter's girl scout leader or watching her kids play sports. Karin enjoys a good book to unwind and provide some quiet time.
