Christine (Chris) has been in public practice since 1989 providing tax, accounting and consulting services to small and mid-sized businesses and their owners in various industries including manufacturing and distribution, private equity and other service industries.  Chris assists business and individual clients in federal and state tax compliance, planning, and research as well as special projects such as accounting method changes and business reorganizations.

Prior to joining The Hechtman Group, Chris was a tax manager in the Entrepreneurial Services Group at McGladrey and was recognized with an award for Client Service Excellence. She has also been a member of the Great Lakes Women’s Leadership Group. 

Chris is an Enrolled Agent and licensed to practice before the IRS and a member of the National Association of Tax Practitioners (NATP).  Chris earned a Bachelors of Business Administration degree with a major in accounting from Loyola University and a Masters of Science degree in Taxation from DePaul University.

Chris, a mother of two, lives in Chicago’s northwest suburbs and enjoys biking, gardening, and traveling.
